If you have children under 2 or if a place is available, you will be redirected to aa.com. Once you have your boarding pass, you can scan the barcode at security and at the gate.

American Airlines accepts children from the age of two days. If you are traveling with an infant less than 7 days old, your doctor will need to complete a passenger health form. Children must be accompanied by an adult over 16 years old. Children under 2 must be accompanied by an adult over 16. All jumbo jets are equipped with lavatories with changing tables.

Basic Economy passengers are entitled to 1 personal item. Items should be small enough to fit under the seat. Product dimensions should not exceed 18x14x8 inches (45x35x20 cm). All other baggage must also be checked. Each passenger is allowed one piece of luggage.

22 x 14 x 9 in / 56 x 36 x 23 cm x 23 cm with handle

Baggage dimensions must match airport baggage dimensions.
